Lettuce dal

After J planted some lettuce  in the backyard, it was a routine for both of us just to watch if some plants are coming in  our vegetable garden. Days passed by and there was no sign of lettuce and we thought may be the seeds didn't work out. One day we saw some plants in our veggie garden and I was thinking it was from the Kale I had in my garden , then I noticed plants in 3-4 places and atlast knew it was the lettuce J planted.
Now the next big question , how will I use my lettuce , as we both are not a big fan of salads and burgers. And J kept on asking me to try dal curry out of it.

At this time, add turmeric and corriander powder and fry till the raw smell goes off. Add the chopped tomato and stir well till  they become little mushy. Now its time to add the lettuce and stir on high flame  for a minute.
