Simple Vegetable curry

As a Keralite, all my vegetable curry is always made by adding coconut milk  or by adding grinded paste of  coconut. I can't even think of a curry without adding coconut. This is my own receipe tried and tested on my guest and it was a real hit.

Ingredients
carrot - 2 nos, peeled and cut into cubes
potatoes - 4 nos,  peeled and cut into cubes
green peas - frozen - 1/2 cup
onion - 1 sliced lengthwise
green chillies - 2 slit lengthwise
alomonds- 1/4 cup
corriander powder - 3/4 tsp
garam masala - 1/4 tsp
salt - to taste
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
butter - 1teaspoon or more as needed
oil - 2 tsp

Method
Pressure cook  carrots ,potatoes and green peas adding enough water .Keep aside.
In a wide pan , add oil and saute onion till translucent .add green chillies ,corriander and garam masala.fry well till raw smell goes off. Add the cooked vegetables , Add turmeric and salt to taste .
Allow the curry to boil. In the mean time, grind alomonds into powder in a mixer add 1/4 cup water and grind again so as to get a fine paste , Add the paste to the curry and allow to boil .
Deorate wuth corriander leaves and a teaspoon of  butter. Serve with jeera rice, chappathi, poori , Iddiyappam  or vellayappam .
